Exports drive up Borusan Mannesmanns H1 sales
Turkish welded pipemaker Borusan Mannesmann Boru’s (BMB)’s consolidated shipments of first-quality products grew 20% year-on-year to 345,000 tonnes in the first half. This was driven by a 28.7% increase in exports to 220,000t, Kallanish notes from the company’s H1 operational report.
BMB’s domestic sales, however, declined -3.8% y-o-y to 125,000t in H1. Exports thus accounted for 61% of H1 first-quality product deliveries.
