Baosteel orders plate cooling for Zhanjiang
China’s Baosteel has ordered a new plate cooling system from Primetals Technologies for the relocated plate mill at its Zhanjiang greenfield steelworks project in southern Guangdong province, according to the technology supplier. The system will increase the quality of its plate output, which will be among the first finished steel output of the new steelworks, Kallanish notes.
