Atlas iron set to resume mining at Mount Webber
Australia’s Atlas Iron says it is to resume production in July at its Mount Webber mine Western Australia’s Pilbara region, Kallanish learns from the company.
The iron ore miner has negotiated agreements on payments with one of its main subcontractors, BGC Contracting Pty Ltd. Under the revised Mt Webber mining agreements, Atlas and BGC are targeting mining cost savings of 10-12%, the company says.
