Atlas Iron reports better-than-expected March quarter
Australia’s Atlas Iron has produced a surprisingly upbeat March quarterly report. Early in April the iron ore mining junior had announced the scaling back and suspension of some of its production operations in the Pilbara (see Kallanish 13 April). However the miner has now decided restart or continue operations at two of these mines at Abydos and Wodgina (see related article).
