ArcelorMittal to expand finished strip output at Calvert, Alabama
ArcelorMittal and its partner Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metals Corp (NSSMC) are investing $40m to debottleneck slab handling at their US steel finishing facility in Calvert, Alabama. Another $6.7m project will enable Calvert to meet growing demand for press hardenable steels, ArcelorMittal tells Kallanish.
