Aperam South America invests $26m in stainless and electrical steels
Aperam South America, which is the region’s sole integrated producer of stainless and electrical steels is planning investments of $26 million during 2015-2016. The biggest $17m project will see it launch a new 60,000 tonnes/year line at its Timóteo mill in Minas Gerais for high-permeability grain-oriented electrical steel (HGO).
