Atlas Iron culls costs by reducing directorships
Australian iron ore miner Atlas Iron has announced that it is to further lower costs by reducing the number of directors on its main board. The remaining directors will take a cut in remuneration, Kallanish notes.
Non-executive director Geoff Simpson has resigned, as has executive director Mike Hancock, Atlas confirms. Hancock will remain an executive with the company as Chief Commercial Officer, the Pilbara-based miner adds.
