Algeria to remain a key steel importer for the next three years says Pasini
Algeria will remain a key importer of European steel products for the next three years. After this period, European manufacturers will have to face competition from new local companies, Feralpi president Giuseppe Pasini tells Kallanish in an exclusive interview.
“Today Algeria imports nearly 4.5 million tonnes of steel products, with a domestic output of 700,000t/year locally. Therefore, we are very far from Algerian self-sufficiency”, Pasini say…
