AK Steel pushes for price increase on flatrolled steel
US steelmakers are pushing to raise sheet prices, Kallanish learns.
Late on Monday, AK Steel announced it will increase the base price of all carbon flat rolled steel products by a minimum of $20/short ton, effective immediately with all new spot orders.
