Yahua, Tesla ink lithium carbonate offtake deal
Chinese miner Yahua Lithium (Ya'an) signed a production pricing agreement on lithium carbonate products with US automaker Tesla on 18 June, according to Yahua Lithium’s parent company Shenzhen-listed manufacturer Yahua Group.
The agreement stated that from 2025 to 2027, Tesla will procure lithium carbonate products from Ya'an. The agreement may also be extended to 31 December 2028 upon mutual agreement.
