Xpeng to carry out plant upgrade at Zhaoqing
China’s smart EV manufacturer Xpeng is taking advantage of the Chinese new year holiday to upgrade its Zhaoqing plant in the southern province of Guangdong, Kallanish reports.
The company said Tuesday the technology upgrade will enable it to tackle the “significant” order backlog carried over from 2021. It will also allow “better service” towards the increasing demand in 2022.
