VSPC receives Australian patent for nickel, cobalt-free cathode powders
Australia’s commissioner of patents has granted VSPC a patent for its process to make lithium metal phosphate, or nickel- and cobalt-free cathode powders, Kallanish reports.
According to parent company Lithium Australia, the patent offers the company 20 years intellectual property protection in the country, and is the “first-step” in VSPC’s quest for worldwide IP protection.
