Volvo CE starts testing fuel cell articulated hauler
Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) has begun testing the world’s first prototype hydrogen articulated hauler in Sweden, Kallanish reports.
The so-called Volvo HX04 can operate for four hours with 12 kilograms of hydrogen, refuelled in around 7.5 minutes. The fuel cell heavy-duty vehicle is being tested at the Volvo CE test track in Braås, where Shell installed a refuelling station.
