US-based Nikola delivers first BEV truck to TTSI’s truck trial
US zero-emission commercial vehicle manufacturer Nikola Corporation has delivered the first Nikola Tre battery-electric truck to California port drayage company Total Transportation Services Inc (TTSI).
The inaugural delivery officially begins a trial intended to lead to a 100-truck order, announced in May this year. The four-truck pilot will have 2 BEVs and 2 fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) trucks, Kallanish reports.
