US sets new records for energy storage: WoodMac
The US has set a record for energy storage in the fourth quarter of 2020 with 2,156 megawatt-hours of new energy storage systems coming online, Kallanish reports.
That is an increase of 182% from third quarter 2020 and a big jump from the 186.4 megawatts/364.2 MWh added in 4Q 2019, according to a new report from Wood Mackenzie and the US Energy Storage Association.
