US energy storage hits record high in 3Q 2020
A new report says that a record 476 megawatts of energy storage were deployed in the United States in the third quarter 2020, Kallanish reports.
That total is an increase of 240% over the previous high, set in Q2 2020, says Wood Mackenzie and the US Energy Storage Association in the latest US Energy Storage Monitor report.
The new storage record is a sign of things to come as front-of-the-metre storage procurements grow in number and size, the report says.
