UK electric car production rises 50% in January
Electric vehicle manufacturing increased 49.9% in the UK in January, with more than four in every 10 cars produced being a BEV, PHEV or HEV model, Kallanish reports.
According to the latest data released on Friday by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), UK car plants produced 28,329 EVs last month. The volume represents a near record monthly share of 41.3%.
