UK auto industry calls for ZEV mandate clarity, fiscal incentives
The UK automotive industry is warning the government that the lack of details on the planned Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mandate is threatening future decarbonisation ambitions.
The mandate and CO2 emissions regulation for new cars and vans in the UK are due in 2024. The government closed a public consultation in May this year, but is yet to publish the final proposed regulatory framework.
