Toyota recalls 2,700 BEVs globally on wheel malfunction
Japanese carmaker Toyota is recalling 2,700 of its first mass-produced battery electric vehicles (BEVs) due to a safety issue with their wheels, Kallanish reports.
The company issued a notification to Japan’s transport ministry (MLIT) on 23 June (local time) saying bolts in the bZ4x can loosen to the point where the wheel can detach from the vehicle.
