Toyota's global EV sales rise 138.1% on-year
Toyota said Wednesday its global electric vehicle retail sales volume increased 138.1% in the first half of fiscal 2024 to 1.83 million units, Kallanish reports.
The volume accounted for 35.3% of its total vehicle sales during H1 FY2024 (the six months ended 30 September). The annual EV sales growth for the period was higher than all vehicles, which rose by 108.3%, showing the company is picking up pace on electrification.
