Toyota confirms $1.3 billion electrification investment in Kentucky
Toyota will invest $1.3 billion at its flagship car manufacturing plant in Kentucky, US to boost its electrification efforts, including the assembly of a new three-row battery electric SUV.
The Japanese giant says it’s reinvesting its profits in the North American market, reinforcing its commitment to “stable employment and future production.” The project brings the plant’s total investment to almost $10 billion, Kallanish learns.
