Toyota adopts North American Charging Standard on BEVs
Toyota Motor North America is adopting the North American Charging Standard (NACS) on its battery-electric vehicles (BEVs), with the rollout expected to begin in 2025.
With this move, Toyota and Lexus customers will have access to more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers across the continent. The move is in line with Toyota’s vehicle electrification strategy and comes after the company reached an agreement with Tesla to use its Supercharger network.
