Total changes name as part of energy transition transformation
French oil major Total is changing its name brand and logo to TotalEnergies to reflect the company’s strategy to become a broad energy enterprise, Kallanish reports.
As the industry transitions away from fossil fuels, Total’s shareholders unanimously approved on 28 May the proposal. A new visual identity will also be adopted to show that company is a provider of energies: oil, natural gas, electricity, hydrogen, biomass, wind and solar.
