Total acquires 20% stake in French hydrogen taxi company
French oil major Total is investing in hydrogen-powered urban mobility by acquiring a 20% stake in Hysetco – a company that owns hydrogen taxis and refuelling stations in France.
The undisclosed transaction gives Total a platform to accelerate its transformation into “TotalEnergies, a leading broad-energy player in the energy transition,” company ceo Patrick Pouyanné said on Wednesday.
