Tesla recalls 2 million EVs over Autopilot concerns
Tesla is recalling more than 2 million vehicles in the US after a federal agency identified concerns related to its “Autopilot” safety system.
The recall – covering nearly every EV that Tesla has sold in the US – comes after a prolonged investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The agency found that Tesla’s autopilot controls are “insufficient to prevent misuse.”
