Technip Energies to build hydrogen plant at bp’s Australian biorefinery
Paris-based Technip Energies said Tuesday it has been awarded a contract by oil and gas giant bp to build a hydrogen production unit at its Kwinana biorefinery in Western Australia, Kallanish learns.
A part of bp’s “global multi-billion dollar investment,” the planned Kwinana biorefinery aims to produce 50,000 barrels of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and biodiesel per day by the end of this decade.
