Stellantis ‘outraged’ as UAW strike action spreads
The United Auto Workers union has dealt another labour-based blow to Stellantis by shutting down production at the company's largest US automotive plant.
For over a month, the UAW has been expanding its labour strike against Ford, General Motors and Stellantis over contract negotiations. The automakers and the UAW have yet to reach a tentative agreement on the matter, continuing to clash over wage increases, cost-of-living adjustments and pensions.
