SQM inks new long-term supply deal with LGES
Chilean lithium miner SQM has negotiated a new long-term supply contract for both lithium carbonate and hydroxide with South Korean battery manufacturer LG Energy Solution (LGES), Kallanish reports.
The undisclosed contract, which replaces the previous one in force, will run from 2023 until 2029. It will cover the supply of over 100,000 tonnes of battery-grade lithium chemicals, although annual delivery volumes have not been revealed.
