LITHIUM: SQM inks multi-year lithium supply deal with JM
Chile’s lithium giant SQM is set to begin deliveries of lithium hydroxide to UK’s Johnson Matthey under a long-term agreement this year, Kallanish reports.
The undisclosed deal announced on Monday will run from 2021 through “at least” 2028, SQM says, without providing specific volumes. The supply will support JM’s production of eLNO cathode materials at planned facilities in Poland and Finland.
