Snam, Iris to build H2-powered ceramic plant
Iris Ceramica Group and Snam will develop the world’s first ceramics plant powered by green hydrogen, Kallanish learns from Snam.
By the end of 2021, Iris Ceramica Group will build a hydrogen-powered new facility in Castellarano, northern Italy, producing tiles “through a blend of green hydrogen, produced through solar energy and natural gas," the firms say in a joint note.
