Sigma Lithium to begin Brazil mine commissioning, expansion
British Columbia-based Sigma Lithium says it will begin commercial production of high-quality lithium for electric vehicle batteries early next year from its lithium mine in Brazil, Kallanish reports.
The company says it plans to begin commissioning activities at the 100% Grota do Cirilo mine in Minas Gerais state later this month and expects to begin commercial shipments by late April 2023.
