Siemens launches super-efficient EV charger
Siemens Smart Infrastructure has launched a new public fast charger for electric vehicles with a voltage range up to 1,000 volts and scalable charging power up to 300 kilowatt, Kallanish learns.
The firm says in a statement the so-called Sicharge D charger is suited for highway and urban fast charging stations, city parking and shopping malls. It provides one of the highest peak efficiencies on the market at 96%.
