Sakhalin hydrogen project to start production in 2026
The first stage of a blue hydrogen project on Sakhalin Island is planned to be put into operation in 2026, according to Russia’s governor of the Sakhalin region Valery Limarenko.
Around 30,000 tonnes/year will be produced during the initial stage. The plan is to expand production to 100,000 t/y in 2030, Kallanish understands.
