Russia reaches new record EV sales in March
Russian sales of electric vehicles increased in March despite a big fall in the domestic car market, data from the Russian analytical agency Autostat shows.
Russia’s new EV registrations rose to 702 units, up by 168% on-year, Kallanish notes. In January-March, Russians purchased 1,611 new EVs, compared to 827 units for the same period a year ago.
