Rivian sheds inventory, reiterates full-year production guidance
US start-up Rivian Automotive, Inc. is shedding some of its inventory as it sold more vehicles than it produced in the second quarter.
In the quarter ended 30 June, the EV maker produced 9,612 vehicles, which represents a 31% decline from the same period last year, as the company made upgrades to its manufacturing facility in Normal, Illinois. It delivered 13,790 vehicles, up 8% from last year.
