Renault to reach BEV-ICE production cost parity in 2024: executive
French carmaker Renault is promising to offer its first battery electric vehicle at the same cost as an internal combustion engine model, Kallanish reports.
According to Philippe Brunet, senior vice president Powertrain and EV engineering, the Renault 5 Electric will start production in 2024 on the CMF-EV platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.
