Renault to produce rare earth-free motor
Renault, Valeo and Valeo Siemens eAutomotive are teaming up to develop a new generation of high-tech electric motors for battery electric vehicles without rare earth elements. The objective of the partnership is to mass-produce a rare earth-free 200 kilowatt electric motor by 2027 in France, Kallanish notes.
