Redwood acquires Redux Recycling, plans European expansion
Nevada-based Redwood Materials has acquired Redux Recycling, a European lithium-ion battery recycling firm, for an undisclosed amount, Kallanish learns.
Redwood, a battery recycling start-up, says the acquisition will accelerate its growth in Europe while expanding its operations and battery recycling capacity. The company is able to extract materials like lithium, cobalt and manganese from batteries, with a greater-than-95% recovery rate.
