RARE EARTHS: Australia’s ASM picks Korea for its first metals plant
Australia’s critical metals producer Australian Strategic Metals (ASM) announced Tuesday it will build its first metals plant in the Ochang Foreign Investment Zone in South Korea, Kallanish reports.
The company has gained support from the Chungcheongbuk-do provincial government and Cheongju-si city government for its investment. The South Korean government is also backing the project with an undisclosed grant under a foreign investment promotion scheme.
