RARE EARTH: Texas Mineral Resources joins Appalachian Basin consortium

Texas Mineral Resources has been chosen as a consortium member by the US Department of Energy to assess and catalog rare earth elements and critical minerals from coal wastes in the Northern Appalachian Basin, Kallanish reports. The project, to be headed by Penn State University, is getting a $1.2 million federal grant.
