RARE EARTH: Defense Metals tests yield 97.3% REE extraction
Defense Metals reports that pre-pilot hydrometallurgical testing of its British Columbia rare earth elements yielded 97.3% extraction from flotation concentrate, Kallanish reports.
The testing of the rare earth elements from the Wicheeda tract also yielded a mineral concentrate averaging 7.4% neodymium-praseadymium oxide, a key magnetic metal, says the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company.
