RARE EARTH: Defence Metals advances hydrometallurgical pilot plant
Canada-based Defence Metals says it has received a proposal for a continuous hydrometallurgical pilot plant for its Wicheeda rare earth project in British Columbia, Kallanish reports.
The plan was submitted to the Vancouver-based company by SGS Canada Inc. Initiation of the hydrometallurgical pilot plant test is the next step in establishing overall flowsheet operability at scale, it says.
