Portuguese PM resigns amid lithium, green H2 corruption probe
Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa resigned on Tuesday after becoming a person of interest in a corruption probe linked to lithium and hydrogen, Kallanish reports.
The official said in a statement he was “surprised” to learn that “a criminal case has already been or will be initiated against me.” He denied any wrongdoing and said he would collaborate with authorities.
