Polestar to pioneer StoreDot’s XFC tech in Polestar 5
Swedish EV manufacturer Polestar says it will be the first to commercially deploy StoreDot’s extreme fast charging (XFC) technology in battery electric vehicles, Kallanish reports.
The so-called ‘100-in-5’ technology will deliver 100 miles of range in five minutes of charging. It’s planned to be demonstrated at full scale in a Polestar 5 prototype in 2024, ahead of the start of mass production for both the cells and the cars.
