Polestar targets 25% logistics emission cut with biofuels
Swedish carmaker Polestar is curbing its supply chain emissions with the use of renewable fuels on its ocean freight routes, Kallanish reports.
The company says that seaborn shipping accounts for roughly 75% of its total transportation emissions. As it works to reduce its carbon footprint, renewable fuel will be initially used for around 65% of the outbound ocean freight of produced vehicles from Asia to its vehicle processing centre (VPC) in Belgium.
