Polestar develops unibody of Polestar 5 in UK
Swedish all-electric carmaker Polestar has developed a bonded aluminium platform for its Polestar 5 performance 4-door GT model set to launch in 2024, Kallanish reports.
The in-house development carried out by R&D teams in Coventry, England, will enable higher range and responsiveness while maintaining high safety standards. The platform is designed with torsional rigidity superior to that of a traditional two-seat sports or supercar, the company explains.
