Pivot Power, Wärtsilä to build 2 new battery storage facilities in UK
Pivot Power, a subsidiary of EDF Renewables, will build two new grid-scale battery storage facilities in the UK to support EV charging infrastructure.
The projects in Coventry and Sandwell, in the West Midlands region, will have a combined capacity of 200 megawatt-hours. Construction of the Sandwell storage facility is slated for Q4 2021 and at Conventry at Q1 2022, Kallanish learns from Pivot Power.
