Pioneer Lithium expands Canadian portfolio with Benham acquisition
Australia-listed Pioneer Lithium has entered into an exclusive option agreement to acquire the Benham Project in northwest Ontario, Canada.
Under the agreement, Pioneer will pay claim owner Wayne Benham CAD 50,000 ($36,530) for the project, which comprises 30 claims totalling 1,245 hectares. This will give Pioneer an undivided 100% interest in the project; however, Benham will retain the right to explore gold, silver and base metals.
