Peru’s copper production reaches 7-year high in December
Peruvian copper output increased on-month in December, reaching a seven-year-high. Production was also up on-year, Kallanish reports.
The latest report by Peru’s mines and energy ministry Minem shows national copper production reached 251,744 tonnes in the month, which represents an 11.9% growth over November’s 224,976 t and 19.8% higher compared to a year earlier.
