Peru’s copper production grows in October
Peruvian copper output increased on-month in October, reaching its highest volume so far this year. Production was also up on-year, Kallanish reports.
The latest report by Peru’s mines and energy ministry Minem shows national copper production reached 232,464 tonnes in the month, which represents a 1.1% growth over September’s 229,990 t. This volume was 8.3% higher compared to a year earlier.
